Two more emails have been sent to Lindsay Graham and Jim DeMint. Today I will type up a letter to send to them and Arne Anderson concerning the jobs bill that the House has already passed.

Absolutely! We could also add to that to keep sending photos and articles to local newspapers. Some of the larger ones have education reporters. Others like the one here in Greenwood will accept photos and articles that are submitted to them.

The Future of Libraries is Now

I was alerted to this article in the current (new) issue of the American School Board Journal. You might wish to call it to the attention of your administrators. A portion of it is online: http://www.asbj.com/MainMenuCategory/Archive/2010/January/The-Future-of-Libraries-Is-Now.aspx

The entire essay may also be available via the subscription databases.

Happy New Year. Frank Baker
